6th Annual Berlin Bowl Fundraiser!
Sue Berlin
Berlin Bowl 2025!
On Friday, November 28th, we invite you to honor Zach Berlin, our son, grandson, brother, and friend, through the game he loved so much. Every year, Zach looked forward to playing this traditional football game with his friends. This year, we come together again the day after Thanksgiving, as his friends and family have done each year, to celebrate his memory and the community he cherished. There is not a day that goes by that we don't miss our Zach! Please join us in honoring his memory.
This year, our game continues to support the Friendship Circle’s UMatter program, which shines a light on nurturing mental health and wellness for teens and college age adults.UMatter is about finding your place and knowing that you belong, that you’re a piece of a puzzle that wouldn’t be complete without you. Just as Zach touched so many lives, this program builds connection, courage, and hope, helping each person feel seen and valued. Together, we carry Zach’s legacy forward, building a community that lifts each other up and reminds us all that we matter.
Thanks to the generous donations from last year, UMatter was able to develop a new curriculum that is launching us into a new era of teen mental health. Our new, comprehensive Teen Talks curriculum, created in partnership with Rabbi Shais Taub, will not only enhance communication within young communities, it will also grow into a replicable model that can expand into other communities. Students will feel less alone, learn coping skills and be more willing to talk about their mental health thanks to the efforts of UMatter, and to you, the donors who support us.
This year, our goal is to raise $6,000 for the amazing UMatter program. We appreciate your donation to this important cause. Help us honor and remember Zach.
