For her Bat Mitzvah project, Naava Shanbaum is raising money for Friendship Circle in loving memory of Joey Roberts — supporting an organization he truly loved.

Joey was a special friend to Naava. She loved cracking jokes with him, playing with his dog Rosie, and sharing so many happy moments together. Joey was always supportive — even coming to cheer Naava on at her basketball games. His kindness, warmth, and friendship meant so much to her.

Through this project, Naava hopes to honor Joey’s memory by giving back to a community that was so important to him.
